R.A.J. Electric has been servicing Palm Beach and Martin Counties Since 1985.
THEN: In 1985 Richard Jones started Richard A. Jones Electric, Inc. in Tequesta, FL. When the State of Florida started licensing "State Certified Contractors", Richard applied and was accepted. His license number assigned was and still is number 2688, making him one of the first 3,000 State Certified Electrical Contractors in the State of Florida.
Starting out, the company mainly did residential new construction wiring in the Tequesta and Jupiter area. He later realized the vast need for residential and commercial repairs and upgrades and that became the sweet spot going forward.
NOW: In 2008 Richard hired Robin Grenier to come on board and run the administrative side of the business. She made such an impact in the growth of the company that she later became a partner and shareholder in the business. Shortly after that the company underwent new branding and a name change to R.A.J. Electric, Inc. with the future anticipation of the retirement of Richard. It wasn't until 2019 that Richard would retire and sold his shares of the company to Robin Grenier. Since then the main goal is to continue the same tradition and ethics that Richard Jones had always been known by.
Our daily goal is to continue to uphold excellence in residential and commercial service and repairs. In addition, we are the vendor for Tesla to install residential vehicle charging as well as other electrical vehicle brands. In 1999 we became a Generac Generator Dealer for sales and service and was chosen by Costco to sell and install generators in the Palm Beach Gardens and Royal Palm Beach stores.
